Gotta say Alchemist is one actual good fucking hard carry, but he can also be nice as support, just not that common, one of my mates went Alchemist support once and ended up carrying the game with 16 kills because of the immense amount of gold he had lol.

Did Alchemy hard farm, Hand of Midas and all that shit. Was able to kill a over-fed Niax in no time.

I don't really like support Alchemist TBH, but the "other" build (MoC+Dagger ganker) can be pretty damn effective.

8 euro for the International compendium, that's it in 7 months I think.

Also, the ~ 8 euros enables you to watch the international games and you get a battlebonus that lasts until august, and you get a courier, a new Hud, and depending on the pool, we can also get immortal items, and a new taunt. Be able to vote on the new Hero imported into Dota 2, vote on an 8 player solo championship at the international.
