Dota 2 now has a guild system, which allows anyone in the guild to join other guild members as long as they open their party to guild members.

Aside from that, the Internationals, the biggest Dota 2 tournament with over $2.4 million in prize money is in its process.

They sent me an invite to play but I haven't bothered yet as I can imagine 95% of the players are the same kind of guys that played HoN and some from LoL who scream, cry and GTX because you're not perfect at the game even though it's your first match. Might not be the case but that's the general feel bro that I got from playing both of those games for a while, full of whiney little elitist cunts who do nothing but play the game 16 hours a day and spend most of that bitching to other players on their team that aren't as good as them.

Well, dunno about that really. Got a lot of hours in Dota2 and people seem alright, HoN and LoL is a nuthouse from what I heard 

Dota 2 is harder and more punishing as well, might put the kids off the game

Atm i play with a friend. Someone should start a steam group and add us peeps so we can see whos online etc and play together.

Gotta love Rubick <3 Also another great combo to try out is Spirit breaker + Life stealer, life stealer uses ult to jump inside spirit, who then charges across the map to whatever hero he wants dead and bam you have a 2 man gank squad charging all over the place.

I gave this a try after all the hype i saw, i played for one night, like, whole night. I was the regular idiot, no knowing what to do, feeding, not sure what to gear and such. Then my friend wanted to play one LOL match with his guys, and as i didnt wanted to play alone, i downloaded the LOL to try it.


Since then i am lvl 13, mostly enjoying top laning. Not sure, if i will stick to it tho, as most of my friend play this for over 2 years or what, and some of them have already lost the patience with me. But yeah, some user friendly beginner community would be cool, no matter the game.

I have played HoN since the beta and im still playing, cant seem to make the transition to LoL or Dota 2. Those game just dont have the troll potential and are too kid-friendly for my taste

I've played HoN aswell when there was beta keys. Its same with Dota2 the only difference is hero names.  Since im a lazy bastard to deny my own creeps. Im playing LoL.

You should try HoN 3.0, they added a lot of heroes and new shit since then
