This game has one of the best hitboxes on the planet. Dont start calling it names just cause it does wrong from time to time.

The server might accurately report a headshot, but your client has a slight difference and shows the projectile in the wrong place. This is just a guess

When it comes to netcode the game does a decent enough job, but it is mostly a melee game rather than a hitscan fps where you would notice small errors. Theres a lot of ghost hitting as well, like you jump away and still have to block eventhough realistically the weapon is nowhere near to intercepting you. Its especially noticeable with bump slashes

Doesn't work that way. The server tells clients where the projectile hit, so the position is accurate.
Hitboxes are made up of capsules attached to bones. They are an approximation, and sometimes it shows.

Apsod you deserve it for going around with that bodyarmor.
1H stab is the fastest, strongest and longest 1H animation. There's no reason NOT to use it in all instances. I don't know if it's OP, but it's boring. 1H used to be fun because you had a fast (left), long (right) and the most devastating attack (stab) and had to choose the best attack for each occasion.

My favorite hitbox "issue" is the 1h thrust. Thrust directly at your target, it will either phase right through them or glance. Thrust at open air to the left of your target (their right)=hit.

Don't even get me started on throwing projectiles. I've gotten headshots on an axe that's clearly flying over someone's head, but the axe that actually hits their head, counts as a torso shot. It's not like you can aim throwing axes anyway, but funny nonetheless.

Far better than endless pages of gamers trying to figure out what is going on with the game. I much prefer developer combo breakers with real information  :idea:

The neck is part of the "head"  :D

I assume the arrows sticks into the lowest part of the neck, even though it looks like it goes through the shoulder (maybe armor texture is misleading us?), but whatever, CMP said its just an approximation and can lead to funny situation  :)
