Rufio your ability to call 1h hammers OP when 2h have barmaces and poles have poleaxes is baffling.

BlueBerry - 1hit of ncs - 95% hp gone
somebody - 1hit of italian sword - 90% hp gone
sb - 1hit of warhammer + sb else 1hit of steel pick - died
sb - 1hit of warhammer + knockdown - ...
same with longsword to be honest...
These were the examples that happened to me. 1h damage can be average but can be totally huge like with any other weapon.
I have 24str 3if 53h 61b 49l armour. A fact that you run with low ps or some crap doesn't mean that 1h hits like a pussy also it's easier to hit the enemy when you are 1h because of the faster swings and right swing's reach is length of weapon + length of straight arm so often 1h have similar reach to greatsword users.
I know that it's known but I also know that for some people it's total heresy and if those people don't believe they can go to duel server and by 1 person standing still and blocking they can keep attacking with different weapons from same distance and compare swings of the different weapons.
Also Molly, I have 8 PS, MW German etc. and it's actually true, people die after 2 hits or more and when I can I keep aiming for head with swings and stabs or when the enemy has shitty leg armour - for the legs. In like 90% of cases when sb dies after 2 hits it's at least 1 to the head. I am totally surprised when somebody that seems to have full hp dies from 1 hit but that's the perfectly held for around 0,5 sec overhead right in the face and those guys usually don't wear that good head armour and for sure aren't filled with IF
