So why is this bug still there ? Is it unfixable ? Is it hardcoded ? Is it intended ? Is it due to a contract with the CIA ?

I don't know Panos or much about him, but I'm starting to see how he could have been banned multiple times...

To straight some things out.

My first ban was for cuntish in game behavior, my second ban had nothing to do with in-game behavior, it was about something that happened at the forum.

Second, this is a forum, people use forums to have agreements, disagreements and communicate with each other.

Most people don`t like me, because I always speak my mind, I`m not afraid of any consequences, when I see something right, I will support it, when I see something wrong, I will judge it.

If you don`t like me, I can respect that, in this life, you can`t like everyone.

The funniest thing is the people who + your post Elindor..

So, as several people have now confirmed this bug and many did in the past, what now ? Assuming we put a video in here showing it happen ( I have absolutely no experience with recording ) how would it help devs to find the origin of the problem ? Are there any specific questions devs need to have answered in order to fix it ?

I want total balance in the mod while you don`t.

total balance is stoopid and a fkin pipe dream. according to your "genius" logic every tin can needs to be able to run as fast as a horse, every archer needs to hit like a 2h hero and every noob gen 1 needs to be grandmaster gen 20.

I know you're Greek so you may not understand but FYI balance ruins games.

Classes with different strengths and weaknesses is what makes great games and keep them fun.

^ If total balance comes to the mod, then you will need actual skill to win.

Doesn't work that way. The server tells clients where the projectile hit, so the position is accurate.
Hitboxes are made up of capsules attached to bones. They are an approximation, and sometimes it shows.

Quote for a completely different issue, ie shoulder and neck shots looking like headshots.

No, this is ghosting through people standing still from as little as 10-20 feet away. When it happens you can put 3 missiles right through their chest and it goes right through them. Also happens when they are moving from greater distances as well.

Ubereem, balance does not mean that all classes have identical strengthes and weaknesses - it rather means that the different strengthes and weaknesses of every single class add up to zero, and that all classes have that zero value. Or whatever value you want (it' an abstract number), but all classes need to have the same. There lies the balance.

This means that an archer who can fire arrows like a machinegun but is slower than a peasant and can't even wield a melee weapon could be as balanced as an archer who has mediocre ranged and decent melee capabilities. Just follow the rule "The more/better strengthes, the more/heavier weaknesses."

Currently many players - including me - think, that the relation of strengthes and weaknesses is not the same for all classes. That's why we want balance. Although I have to say that we are close to perfection. The last problems could be fixed by changing the game mode of battle, and then applying a few tweaks and we are done.

I think you should all just stop discussing balance in this mod because it never existed and never will. not even close.

Just stop playing this already and demand balance and patches. instead support the new project where the devs will have complete engine/code controll, then we will have some sort of balance. hopefully
And now he can't play because of "common sense" and he doesn't understand how this common sense works

No, it is the same thing. Hitboxes are not accurate, afaik they are rather narrow just below the chest area. I heard DaveUKR talking about fixing them on IRC some time ago, dunno what happened to that.
