lost my great axe, dadao, shortened military scythe, maul and spiked mace. None loomed tho but thats irrelevant.  Also when i try to buy it again it does not show up in inventory.

Same, heavy strange helmet is gone on three of my characters : Torayama_Munemori, Torayama_Tsuyosa and Torayama_Sojiro.
Probably others items missing, but none that seemed really important.

Tried to buy it back, but it took the money and the items still isn't available.

If anything can be done, I'd be gratefull !

seams that all loomed stuff that not where saved on my  "favourite or default items"  disappeared

it seems there's a prob with the swords, greatswords in particular. I lost my temp. Greatsword after the hotfix, maybe they are preparing a new model for that weap and in meanwhile they have deleted them all. But i'm drunk and with "they" i'm meaning "Aliens" or some "governatives"....

I just bought a Long Espada Eslanova, which cost me 10000 and for a 1st gen that is a lot of money, and it is not in my inventory or in the game. I need that sword and it just disappeared along with my money.

A few people replied saying they had their items returned. Was this due to the rollbacks in some fashion or were they actually returned?

I have not seen any official reply to state whether or not we will receive compensation by somehow restoring the items or providing us with the heirlooms. I've been trying to idle in IRC and have asked a few times with no reply in there. I can live without my mighty goedendag but I know a few people have been a little more than frustrated with their primary weapon missing.
