Agreed tbh, total GTA vibes, trailer was pretty shit. Hope they show some gameplay.
If it's anything like the Witcher then there'll be different moods, not to mention nighttime scenery.
The first trailer they released was pretty Bladerunner -esque in comparison to this one, but you have to remember that this time they were at E3, so it's made to fit that audience. If you look through the actual details rather than just the "vibe" you'll see things ripe for a pretty sinister setup.
I am hopeful they learned from The Witcher 3 E3 presentation vs Witcher 3 release version and are flipping it around - ie making the trailer flashy and the game intricate and not the other way around.
Witcher 3 had some nice things and the first time you play it the pacing doesn't not help your suspension of disbelief, but if you've ever replayed it, I'm sure you've noticed all the holes, where they've went back and iterated with a different mindset than the original gameplay concept or say the story loading screens.
Just as likely I'm wrong and they are doing the other thing of using the good repute they got from the Witcher to make the game they started making mid-development and not the one envisioned in the first place though.
