actually i think i reared a cavalry player yesterday when he tried to bump me, i was using a longsword and was fighting a 1h/shielder, the tried to bump me and got reared..
or there was some sort of invisible longspear user nearby, it was weird and confusing though.
as if he rode into a wall..

well i bumped into the thrower the instant the axe hit my horse frontally,  it reared and just after the he pulled out a long bardiche.  dunno what happened there.

now my horse reared whilst trying to ride over an archer.  he was pulling his bow in that moment,  however not towards me. 
I had stabbed him before the failed bump that made me rear.

common to the first accurance:

lanced before bumping w/o killing
target was ranged about to or just having released his throw/arrow
the bump failing and instead rearing the horse in the instant the bump should occur

On at least 5 occasions since the patch yesterday I've been reared by a person without a melee weapon when I've been moving at reasonable speed. Strange rearings (lol) do happen and it would be nice to know why, how to avoid them and if they're going to be removed.

All of the current QQ threads would go a lot smoother if we had patch notes by the way.

You mean 1.41 long piercing polearm?
Because 1.4 is not long enough (example: long bardiche).
Was that changed or am I missing something?
