when i get to step 2 of the process,where it says log in with your characters it says "Account already exists" i did the QMP thing in server but it stilll says it.I think it is because i got to step 3 of the process before this  and crashed and it wont let me use any of the accounts any more

When you get an "Account already exists" you already created an account. If you don't remember the password use the QMP ingame to set a new password for your account or use the password recovery wizard which will tell you the account name and lets your reset the password (displaying the account name is afaik not released yet but soon).

i did the QMP and tried to use the password it gave me but it still said account already exists

Don't try to create another account, just login with the new password and the account name you chose (if you forgot that one use the password recovery ("I forgot my password" link)).

Because you already have an account and you can't make more than one (per serial key). Login with the account name+password on the login page. If you don't know them use the password recovery.

we tried same thing it didnt work he ll try to help me this evening cus he was at work and cant completly access his power
