Chambering with ranged

Hello all!!
I just noticed something strange on Na1 (ok prety much everything is strange on NA1 but this one was utter strange)

I was fighting a pikeman (Duck_fat for the story) with my migthy stones! he was gonna pike me when I tried one last shot in despair (was stuck) and what do I hear : *clink* and I didn't die!!  it stuke me in the face : I chambered with my ranged rock :O

that was it  ithought of a bug

BUT I was gangbanging my dear friend Jesus with my awesome rocks when he tried to kill me!! at the exact moment I pulled out a rock and you know what? it chambered!!!!

tl;dr version : can we now chamber with ranged wep?

You can chamber with ranged but only if you got 100+wpf after the pt/pd/weight penalties, your projectile also gotta hit their weapon.

My guess is the act of pulling back the weapon to throw is equivalent to chambering a melee weapon "up".  So (according to what happened to you) it would appear throwing weapons can chamber stabs if you time it right.

You can chamber with it, it's just a terrifyingly small area that they have to hit YOU on. If they swung at say, your left side , your legs, hit anywhere not your right arm... it won't chamber.

Also, I'm like 90% sure the throwing animation chambers arrows(and other ranged), again only if they hit that area with perfect timing. have Had quite a few lucky *clinks* and arrows disappear that should've killed me, over the years. Rare but funny. Still not sure of it, should test.

Yes, you can chamber block it if you've got over 7wm and max 1wpf in xbow, archery, and throwing, you also gotta have respec'd at least once in your gen in order to do it.

I chamber blocked an arrow with my bow in an archer duel once. Almost certain it was against Kesh. It is possible.

So the new response to ranged ragers is not "get a shield", it is "learn to chamber ranged nub!"
