Influence of gear on xbow accuracy

I have heard that high amount of gear reduces accuracy of xbow depending on the weight of the gear.
Does anybody know anything exactly about?

Further I have heard that some equipment for example glothes get multiplied with 3 or something to calculate their influence.

you are the one that blocked me yesterday on eu2 while i was trying to run away from the enemy through a small gap, i wont be satisfied untill i can stab your balls with my long spear and than molest your body with my quarterstaff and every knife i have untill the enemy comes kill me while im deforming you like a madman. duel?

Weight of armor on head*2 + body + gloves*4 + legs - 10 = the percentage your wpf get decreased by.

I think it works the same way for any class.
