cRPG system stress

Hi there, I understand that this doesn't really justify its own thread, but I couldn't find a "misc questions" thread. Sorry if I missed it.

Basically, I have always played both cRPG and native on a powerful desktop, but now have to switch to using a fairly poor laptop. It runs native at lowest specs with about 25 fps - this is basically the lowest I can play on happily. Can I expect the same of cRPG, or will large scale battles, more textures etc mean that it will not run effectively?

Basically, does cRPG put more stress on your computer than native?

dx9 will most likely run better with crpg, while dx7 won't be supported in the future.

Hm, interesting question. I would say it vastly depends on the amount of players. On low pop you might do fine, but when lets say 60+ppl are on, you could get into problems. There are some threads i believe, that could help you set up the game so it really doesnt run any unnecessary things.
