Multiplier idea

You get x6 for the next round but next round you don't get x6 unless you get valour again, then you still have x6. But if you don't get valour the next round you go back to x5.
12 (27.3%)
You get another x5 tick on the end of round.
12 (27.3%)
The same as option one, but it increases to x7 etc and if you don't get valour next round it goes back to x5.
11 (25%)
None, it's fine as it is.

So I've had an idea for quite some time.

Not so often you get valour when you have x5 and you feel it's useless when you have done such a nice performance, therefor I have a good suggestion.

Option one: You get x6 for the next round but next round you don't get x6 unless you get valour again, then you still have x6. But if you don't get valour the next round you go back to x5.

Option two: You get another x5 tick on the end of round.

Option three: The same as option one but it increases to x7 etc and if you don't get valour next round it goes back to x5.

I think option three is a bit too overpowered since it can easily be abused in different ways.

Also know I'll get a lot of hate because I'm a Byzantium member :P

You should be punished for having a shitty attitude.

Valor is in general a fucked up thing, it rewards going for light armored opponents and bad players, it also rewards holding block with a shield while being near the fighting but not actually doing anything... ...finally, kiting my old friends like das brot can get valor, it shouldn't be buffed further.
1H stab is the fastest, strongest and longest 1H animation. There's no reason NOT to use it in all instances. I don't know if it's OP, but it's boring. 1H used to be fun because you had a fast (left), long (right) and the most devastating attack (stab) and had to choose the best attack for each occasion.

i think the valour system works great, it rewards team players rather than duel 2h heroes

+1 to option 1

Actually to get points you need a lot of HP and armor and to keep up with the main group. When they all die, just spam and you'll get hilarious amount of points. Even silly little old me in light clothes, with a moderate STR build and no shield is able to get solid amount of points by doing what I wrote in previous sentence.

Dont you already get xp at the end of the round? (after minutes are gone) or if the time ran out and theres still fighting give them bonus xp like every 20seconds and when its out.

+1 to #2: I think that valor is currently sort of wonky, especially in siege, and giant bonuses shouldn't be awarded willy-nilly.

No you don't.

Personally option two is my favorite, it gives a small boost but it's the equivalent of 30 seconds in x5. Not too much, not unrewarded.

Yeah option 2 seems the best. Then again the whole multi system is getting scrapped, so I doubt they'll do this.

Ehm... All I do is 2h heroing and I get valour often enough. In siege especially where killing is truly secondary, if I want to make sure I get multipliers I'm better off hunting people. Which I do, but not for multipliers, more for just finding someone to fight. I prefer fighting over winning.

Well, tbh, it rewards you MORE for smashing heavily armoured goons with a 1handed crap weapon more that it rewards going for light armour: Lightly armoured guys are 1hit, maybe 2hit: 5-6 points maybe? I have racked up 12 points on a single plated goon before now, stabbing and slashing him over and over...

This just helps people that really get valour quite often, anyone who never gets valour, feels that the whole xp system is a bit more unbalanced by that. There are many reasons not to get valour, build, gear and especially skill (or not skill!).

Option 2 is best tho, give some reward but dont give too much.

But as I said earlier and as you said Miwiw, it's a really mellow award but it's still noticable and can make a difference. Which is exactly why it should be put in, valour should always give some sort of reward even if it's a biased system.

No no, I'm not against your suggestion. Sadly with the current xp system, there's not much to do about it but add something nice for having valour. Option 2 tho, other two are too much. :P
