The run was indeed a bit long and boring. 35 seconds run + 5 seconds respawn is 40 seconds to only get to the castle. Then you still need to get up there and then get to the flag. This is all quite a long time considering the defenders have a 30 seconds respawn + maybe a 5 or 10 second run to the flag. This makes it a very difficult castle to attack, not impossible, but a little too hard. But apart from the balance problem, having to run that long each time is quite boring, people play the game to fight, so the more time spent fighting the better.
Another problem I found frustrating was that as soon as I got up the ladder, my first instinct was to go left down the wall. There is no way to get down from the wall though, apart from jumping on the house and then down, which hurts a lot. You need to go all the way back to the back gatehouse to get down safely. A better way down a little quicker would be nice.
You made the map no the basis of your battle map, and I understand that, the bridge looks way cool. But the only purpose it serves here is too have the attackers run a marathon to a castle which has little to do with the bridge. Of course this would require an entire rework of the map, but incorporating the bridge in the castle could make the map awesome. You could even make the bridge the castle, would require some more ways in, but there is so much possibilities with the bridge and a siege map, which your current map didn't touch. The bridge is now just scenery, while it could have been part of the gameplay.
If you were to reduce run times significantly and make the castle easier to attack it can go back in, but perhaps if you can be arsed you can find a way to incorporate the bridge into gameplay. Here's a little idea I quickly painted out.

There are some holes in the idea though, just a quick thought
