I don't get why looming terrible items is respected...you're already spending how many months of your life getting 3 loom points, and then you basically waste them?

I guess I don't have nearly as much free time as some of you do :P

It just seems very similar to people who run around for generations with a wooden stick, they're leechers and do nothing to help your team.  They are actually a burden because that's 1 more person on the other team who's potentially actually playing the game.

Or the trend where a friendly and an enemy just stand next to each other, and one will actually block for the other if their own teammates try to kill the enemy.

How is any of that tolerated, much less respected?  I'm a pretty competitive person, but I play the game because it's fun.  Still these trends strike me as being very backwards.

I think it's more along the lines of having fun and not taking the game too seriously that is more respected than people who are serious try hards.

I respect more a guy that looms a cudgel and kills people with it (like Dado) than some try hard my old friend kid that always abuses the "popular" and broken weapon at that time.
And now he can't play because of "common sense" and he doesn't understand how this common sense works

This, I pursued that +3 stick because the loom pack made it look like a schnazzy police stick and because it was extremely amusing. I can't count how many times I've made the duel server devolve into nothing but +3 sticks after I kept spawning, dropping four of them, and then suiciding and repeating.

I play purely for fun.
I'm not normal and I don't pretend so, my approach is pretty much a bomb crescendo.
Death is a fun way to pass the time though, several little bullets moving in staccato.
The terror of my reign will live on in infamy, singing when they die like a dead man's symphony.

The only item id looms for "practical" reasons is either a horse, ranged item or shield.
Peasant lums ftw!
I loot corpses of their golden teeth.
But he'll be around somewhere between Heaven and The Devil, because neither of them will take him in, and he'll be farting loudly and singing a filthy song.
