I have just tried WSE2 a while ago, but only for a couple of rounds of DTV, and I must say you lads have done an amazing job. I love all the new options in the menu.

Connecting to servers is almost instant, whereas, in the past, I had to wait like 5 seconds after clicking on joining a server until I joined it.

And, even with many of the new visual settings on, I don't have any issues with performance. In fact, it looks like it runs smoother than before (I used to play with DX9 and mostly high settings already).

Before the update I had annoying freezes (1-2 secs) sometimes. Now they are gone... Thanks for that!

- graphics/smoothness (my GPU dropped from around 70% usage to 40% with much higher graphic settings enabled, only thing preventing me from using ultra settings is my CPU I believe)
- fast and stable alt-tabbing without windowing before

Yeah, the fact that you cannot hear horses at a mile away at the same volume as when they are closer is a great improvement. I wish every game had that feature. Cmp for president!

I've had the smoothest experience ever! I love how it is more GPU than CPU usage (at least for me)

Only thing preventing me to have Ultra settings is HDR, it's turned off, and everything else is turned on! yay1!

HDR adds some strange animmation jittering while not reducing fps. Sometimes occur without HDR on big servers.
But damn!

- nice log background (!!!)
- much better animations etc. . I was going to even write a thread about animation blending, but now there is WSE2!!
- NO INSTAHITS, I CAN SEE EVERYTHING. THIS IS THE BEST FEATURE FOR ME.
- Options! Lots of options! On everything!
- Servers now refresh normally, this was not a big bug, but one of the most annoying
- FOV, first person is now viable!!!!!!! Tryed today, and it's actually much better than before.

And yeah, you really buffed melee, in all ways, just by making these changes.

I dueled on eu 3 yesterday with almost no stuttering. I'm most pleased with the progress.

- now you can rear horse with E button. Very useful.
- No blocks while kicking. Its a buff to shielders.
