Intriguing. Somehow I feel threathened. With your backboned structure I suppose adopting you in my Empire is out of the question.. All that is left is to destroy you.. No?
Blood is that which gives life, and that which takes it away. Treasure it as nothing more, nothing less.

50 members over 3 games, we were 300 ish at the launch of Darkfall but most were idiots :)

We are around 10+ for this game with a few more wanting to try it out.

Thanks for the comments also, we always try to use teamwork, it compensates for how noobie we are lol.

You want to hope not, as the reason we quit Darkfall was because Darkfall wasn't the sandbox they claimed it to be. Don't get me wrong it's a good game, I still play it here and there but it's not the best sort of game for an idea such as Wessex.
Now Mortal Online if that was better it would be a good game for us, when they add more features and such, apart from that there isn't any "perfect sandbox" games out there for us to build a realistic kingdom.
Now M&B warband and the cRPG mod, theres a great combination there for some fun PVP and community building. Now combine that with Strategus and I can see some fun times a head. :)

Thank you for the welcome messages anyway chaps. :)
Thankfully the developer team I am part of are creating that perfect game with true sandbox features, but thats way off yet from release. :)

Darkfall rocks, fights like this are just so much fun. :D This game also rocks and I am looking forward to many foes as well as allies since there is nothing worse then having no great enemies to fight!

Sounds interesting, I always thought if someone implemented the generative landscape algorithms of Minecraft, the intuitive skill based combat system of Mount and Blade, the physics based contraption making of Little Big Planet, with the organised MMO community of EVE Online, we would have the game of all games.

Left click spam melee and aoe magic saturation with a heaping of macro grinding.

Anyways, welcome to a game with a REAL melee PVP system.

Yeah we can all dream of that perfect MMO :)

Thankfully I am the lead artist and my priority is to have a combat system like M&B with a few more combat moves etc.

Our aim is to have everything with the fluff being a very important factor. If we have all the fluff and a good combat and crafting system it will appeal to all play styles, which in my opinion is what other MMO companies succeed to lack in.

Anyway I won't derail this thread with that. :)

Don't burn yourself and make it too complicated. M&B is really simple but very deep, while a lot of complicated games are very shallow.

And how I have always wanted a game were crafting was useful! Not just in making superweapons of awesomeness but the basic weapons of your goons! I always wanted to play as a smith, just forgin and selling armour and weapons to all those fancypants adventurers. Sigh. Maybe that game set in colonial Salem will have good enough crafting perhaps?
This game isn't about being skillful as much as its about saying things in general chat that enrage people who then go to murder you but in their rage they make dumb mistakes which gets them killed.
