What happened to Type 59? I haven't play for a longtime. Yesterday i decided to play but not like grind fest but buying the tanks that i like to play.(T-54/E75/Stug 3/T29/M18 Hellcat/KV-2 etc etc...) But somehow my moneymaker feels like a heavy tank. Did they nerf it or something?
yes its been nerfed, which i think is completely unwarranted, though its in the EULA that they can change stuff however and whenever they want.
They changed the tanks size and the angling of its armor, essentially nerfing it, but they claim they were just resizing it to make it more historical. I think its kind of a cheap move considering you sold a tank as one thing, then once it became a problem, they took it off the market, and nerfed it. Either way, the tank is at this point, over hyped, still riding on the coat tails of its once glorified days, because its nowhere near the tank it was upon its release.
Its accuracy, aim time, penetration, and speed were also all nerfed, but those came closer to its release then the one i mentioned above. Also dont forget, gold rounds are widely accessible now, and with that, the armor of the type is much easier to pen, since just about everyone just switches to apcr and pens you anyways. Though, with 9.6 on the way, maybe the accuracy nerf will help this tank hide its weaknesses better.
On another note, i have a full female crew in a t-34-85!!! yay! \o/
