At tier V: KV-1 or KV-1S?

I got three slots during the xmas events and stuff, but I don't want to keep basically the same tank twice.

I am thinking of eliting out the KV-1 so all paths are researched, then keeping the 1S as a 'learner' tonk.

Also 1S is much prettier. The dark green looks great

i havent played in a while, but i thought they broke the kv-1s into several tanks like the kv-85 and what not.  The IS is now like tier 7 or some such shit as well as the big 122 gun.(maybe tier 6, idk)

I'd go KV-1. Granted I don't play low tiers anymore unless I absolutely have too, and I only played the 1S when it was an OP tier 6. KV-1 is the big bully of tier 5.

Since i'm a stat whore I look up like everyone's stats. You're better than I was when I started out. Just a random stalker's compliment.

Having a tier III tank? Enjoy being bottom tier and dying to tier V in 1 shot.

Having a tier IV tank? Enjoy being bottom tier dying to tier VI in 1 shot.

Having a tier V tank? Enjoy being bottom tier dying to tier VII in 1 shot.

The balance in this game is god awful and the +2 spread never stops, so annoying to get 1 shotted just because other people no-lifed more.

And people actually defend this tier spread. Morons

Trying to find what causes it or how to go around it, but the only way I can think of is being tier X, then you are the top dog. lol

I will defend the +2 spread since it used to be a +3 spread! Be happy for that change. I think your problem is you are at the tier where derp cannons are very very common. You probably play tanks without much armor if you get one shotted a lot. Keep grinding! We've all been there, don't become a complainer about how tanks are bigger than you.

My advice is to only grind 3 lines, so that you aren't stuck on low tiers. I have close to 5k battles, and I have only one tier X because I was grinding like 10 lines. Tier X is fun, I have the JG. PZ E100 a.k.a The Deathstar, but it's more challenging than low tiers since more skilled players play it.

World of Warplanes is, supposedly, not too good. WoBattleships ain't out yet.

My advice is to only grind 3 lines, so that you aren't stuck on low tiers. I have close to 5k battles, and I have only one tier X because I was grinding like 10 lines. Tier X is fun, I have the JG. PZ E100 a.k.a The Deathstar, but it's more challenging than low tiers since more skilled players play it.

3 lines is boring

I'm over 5k battles and got like 4 T8 tanks in garage + 3 more unlocked + too many to count lower tier tanks

Outdated information. KV1S is the king of tier V heavies now, KV1 got knocked out of that position via power creep.
I already have both though, and won't keep two of the same tank. Will probably keep the 1S when I max KV1

Fallacious thinking. Just because it used to be even worse, it doesn't mean the system can't be bad now.
Still not as bad as War Thunder's BR system, though. That is a freaking mess.

I played the closed beta of WoT, I exactly know how the mm was then.

Also world of warplanes sucks arse, War Thunder has the better air combat.

WoT still holds a much more interesting tank combat though, I must admit. In war thunder your actions have no real importance, you don't feel so awesome after a streak of kills for an example. Also the physics still suck, and totally break the immersion.
