Hm sure the matchmaking in dota can fuck you over pretty good but I've had some silly experiences in LoL with that as well. It's just very hard to do proper matchmaking imo, as there's too many factors to player skill.

There's a difference between matchmaking and Heroes/Champions being unbalanced.

dota is 100% balanced (for competetive play obviously)

well you need to crank up the video settings a bit, it is cartoonish, but when i look at dota 2 i see only subtle details...

I did crank up the settings to max, everyone knows LoL is way more cartoonish while Dota has a more dark theme.

And what the Barbarian said up there: matchmaking is one thing (fucked up totally in all moba games) but gameplay balance is a different stuff. Graphics & lore-wise I'd rather play Dota then any other such game but its so fucking unbalanced that it hurts. Its so silly I wont even go into details with it.

I'm really not sure what you're refering to when you imply that the gameplay is not balanced, Gnjus. I'm genuinely interested at what you think is the problem.
(I'm not a LoL hater in any case, just fyi, I just prefer Dota2 for several personal reasons)

I'll gladly explain it to you, dear komšija but I just don't feel like it at this precise moment when its 40+ degrees out there and I'm trying to cool myself down with tons of icy http://ambalaza.hr/files/img/2009/10/30/Karlovacko0.25_za-web.jpg plus the fact my computer is giving me random bluescreens + restarts + freezings + unexpected shutdowns that I can't really deal with (and I'm not a complete & utter dummy when it comes to these things), I'm very close to smashing it apart with my  special tools so I'll hold my essay-long answer to some better occasion, lets say in the next few weeks when I lose my plot and decide to Splash the Cash on a brand new Gaming Rig.
