I just really like history and geography, and I like the fact that they were stubborn as shit and told the HRE to fuck off and let them run their own shit, and didn't bend over and take that nordic dick when vikings occasionally tried to raid. I'm sure that most people in north america really have no idea about Friesland and don't give a fuck either.
