I want to say good luck, but I know there won't be any. This community is pretty shitty, but you already know that since you say you have been here for a long time. Strategus brings out the absolute worse in everyone. I would assume it is meant to emulate single player campaign as much as possible with the ability for each person to roleplay their character, but this community ruins all of the effort the developers put into strategus. It is a game of popularity, trolling, and propaganda. There are no rules, there is no organization, diplomacy sucks, very few people actually roleplay, and all the large clans have even larger alliances. There is no large clan that has the courage to fight under its own banner.
I hope that in Mount&Blade 2 there will be multiplayer campaigns. It would be much more fun to play with a group of people who are actually going to roleplay on an RPG instead of relying on a community of inbreds to form a large scale medieval roleplaying game.
Anyways, have as much fun as you can...while you can.
