here I go again:  I miss the old days, the heroes that were hard to be overcome,  overpowered tanks plowing down half a team.  guys that it took those 20-30 guys to kill, ha.
mind you,  I was one of those 20-30 guys.

give us back 2h crush through charger cav (DEDE!!!), pin point archers and super shielders!!  AAAAAHRG!

I wonder how this would work now that the average player skill has increased quite a lot, would be crazy.

This crpg feels like the fairy version of the old times,  everyone goes archer or twohand ballerina. Where are the black knights with boulders on long sticks?  The plated flamberge archers and ninja pike ninjas?  Totally unrealistic!

Id have to agree with Gravoth here. The overall playerskill has advanced so damn much, that sticking all that back in the game would mean extremely short rounds and entire pissed off playerbase yelling "BULLSHIT!". Since basically everybody these days knows how to block like a pro, kick damn good and aim ranged weapons like gods.

Frankly I like the current state more. That you cant make chars that can counter every class. But occasionally you have to pull back and get some support. Rather than pick up every weapon you find on the ground and use it like a baws. And even with all the nerfs we still have tincans/archers/cav who take entire teams down.

well you missed the times when the_finn cleared out 50+ guys a round on his huge horse.  when it finally went down,  he rose upon the peasants that dared kill his horse as a black knight of terror,  swinging is huge axe of cookies or what its name was and slayi... no.  actually sucking,  he sucked on foot.  but fuck that he was a tank!

So basicly forget all of the work they did, by just goin back to the starting point?

The old version was very fun to play, and it felt more.......''alive'' than this version. That is the good things, but it also had a ton of bad things, it was really unbalanced and.... ''flawed'' :P.

It's rare, but there are people who can take out 10+ guys at the end of rounds by themselves or with a tiny group. I find that more entertaining than if they had used some sort of overpowered weapon.

ah dude i know,  this is a semi serious post.  bottom line is probably that I would like to see a few of fun "wow"  thingys back in game...

all in all the game is awesome and well balanced.
