Recently i tried to log into my character page to find i was globally banned and i think i know why. Several months ago i was in a clan and in this clan we had an altercation between two of its members in which some accusations were made regarding one of these individuals using a block bot. The accused is a very good player so it did arouse some suspicion. So me and two other members set out to find if there was any validity to these accusations mainly because if they were true we were going to remove him from the clan. I downloaded a bot and then installed it. Then we spent several hours in a duel server trying to figure out what a block bot looked like to fight against(the main tells being the default downblock and the fact that blocks switch direction when you turn your back to the botter with a swing held). We learned that the accused was probably not botting and now i know we were right as I am now banned and he is not. Then i have to admit that temptation got the better of me and i used it for a map in siege and got bored after 5 mins. this was the last time i used this bot.
As far as the exact time-frame i am not sure but it was more than 3 months ago as the clan i was in at the time is no longer around. i have already posted a simplified version of this post in the auto-blocker unban thread
