hello all. i got hungover now so cant play, but i lie on the bed with laptop and I decided to write what i think about "archer nerf"
i think many archers are crying and complaining about it and its understandable (rusbow users).
this what happened to my build/gears
Bodkins 7 weight x2 and rusbow got 3.5 weight, and also got -1 dmg and accurate like you all know
some say (now) you can choose to be "heavy archer"= high dmg, slow movement or "light archer" = low dmg, fast movement.
problem is that i choose to be that fast archer, but what happenes in battle. Tincans can catch me quite easyly and most of them are probably under 30 lvl. like i am 34 lvl with very light gears and high ath couse i always liked fast build.  i used to manage sometimes to get top of scoreboard but it means focusing alot in game all 4-5 rounds.  when i reach to "top" some says "archers are op" and others says "nice work" or just nothing. but i just think other high lvl archers example, bagge, jambi, pejalen, everkistus, shogdsgsdsosuki, xynox bloodarrow, thomas, blackbow and many more. they all played long time and worked hard to get there, im not sure but i think they have alwats been archer character so it means they are really good and lvl +33 - 35 are biggest reason couse they killing people. many of these archers like thomas are still doing well with longbow. i suck with longbow and i have played 2 years with rusbow so i dont want to learn to use "new bow" couse of long gaming and personal love to rusbow <3.
i admit its annoying when i "kite" and run away. think that you are playing high lvl archer and 1 hit almost every time kills you, i have no reason to stay fight with my super axe couse they just kill me in 2-3 seconds.. im very very bad in melee. so when i saw some platemonster coming after me i managed to run to my team mates and i supported them to kill it( team killed and hitted mostly) but anyway.

i started to play xbow alt couse, this is very addictive game cant stop playing it <3
for all high lvl archers <3
sorry bad english and writing, just got nothing better to do, i dont really think noone cares about this post :D i dont even use very offen forums anyway,. too hard

You are always too blinded with your hate to every class that you never want to think about its current state reasonably.

If you want the mod to be balanced you have to pay attention to every part and every class.

I suggest you to play for some time with every class and create more impartial statements.

Im sry but i dont see why Archers shouldn't be forced to stick with the team like everyone else nowadays tbh... i guess from their point of view its funnier to run around shooting like rambo but w/e idc..
I've never played a server where people split up as much or as often as on EU1.  No wonder range is having a field day.

As an archer you have to try and outflank the enemy center from a distance, otherwise your teammates will constantly block your view. All players should think tactically rather than simply run at the other team.

Every class should be able to be countered including archers an the solution shouldn't have to be other archers only...

Thus weight increase in arrows happened..

All classes are not meant to be equally effective at countering all classes...
That's what makes the game fun and "forces" some level of teamplay.

This nerf, like most nerfs could have been avoided if the teamplay were better.
But people are so simply too lazy and egocentric to teamplay. So instead they call for a nerf.

I have yet to hear a coherent sentence adressing this problem, about kiting archers of course.

In what way could an archer more easily counter all other classes than a high agility shielder with a spear?
