Towards the top right you will see a link "viewing: NA" click on that to view the EU portion of the Strategus map (they're connected at the steppe where Khergits are in single player, also north and south of this location connects the two sides of the map).
To see a list of upcoming battles for strategus, from the
http://c-rpg.net website (have to be on your main character) click on the "Battles" tab (at the top Tavern, Character, Ladder, Battles). This is a list of upcoming battles in strategus. If you want to apply to one side or the other, click on a battle, and then click "Apply for" and put a checkbox for one or both of the names, and then in the application I'd normally put what your build is (18/18, archer etc). Also you can request any payment you want here, but they can choose to pay you whatever they want (or nothing) when the battle is over.
Also to note, when you sign up for a side, refresh the website and check for a "Briefing" tab at the top. This will usually include instructions to be in a factions teamspeak/ventrilo (and the server info) 30 minutes before a battle for roll call.
One last thing to make sure you have the correct battle times, from
http://c-rpg.net make sure you check your time zone settings.
Click on "Settings" (above Tavern, Character, Ladder, Battles), then on the left click "Regional". This new screen will tell what time you are currently set to, so you can easily change this and get the server to show you the correct time for your time zone.
