Hospitaller and KUTT relations clarified.

It has come to my attention some clans are not sure about the relations between KUTT and ourselves (Hospitaller). I would like to make it crystal clear that we are allies and have a defence pact with them, an attack on KUTT from any faction is an attack on us as well and we will look at that entity as a hostile threat.

We have been getting attacked from everyone but that will not detour us from our duties as allies. We hold our pacts with respect and honour and as such will fight until the bitter end along side them and any other whom call us friend.

This is NOT meant as us flexing our muscle, as you can tell we have been getting hammered, this is simply solidifying our stance which is, and always will be; We fight and die together with our brothern, Allies are a valued asset to us and regardless of those consequences we will stick by them.

I look forward to seeing you all on the battlefield, regardless if its beside me, or in front of me.

The least trustworthy tend to feel an exaggerated need to broadcast and tell everyone how reliable and honest and trustworthy they are even with no context or reason for doing so. Its one of the most classic signs of a con artist. Pyschology 101, just sayin.

And on a side note, why would we make it clear we will stand by our friends even as we are getting hammered by numerous clans, I could understand if we were sitting pretty saying we'll be good boys, come try some candy, But to stand by your mate as your both taking a beating stating you will stay by their side, what could be more sincere?

I can't say that we are righteous either. While we intended to be able to give them all we could to help them with war, not an ounce has made it there. It's the nature of Strategus, you gotta sift through all the shit thrown at you and toss what you can. Lately, it's been like carrying an egg on a spoon blindfolded through a car-wash and hoping when you reach the other side the egg is still there to pass on. Hospitallers seem to be in a better position to stand by their word more than we were able to, at least when it came to reinforcing them.


I can say that it makes me proud to know that we have allies and friends that still value what we have done, and where we have stood in the past, and even some new ones that we least expected. They stick to their word, and while we anxiously await some sort of large hand to help us up, it's nice to know that they still care and that they're still going to be there.

Its just calssic political double-speech.  Talk about how much you are solid allies.  Actions speak for themselves and its been 2 weeks now that KUTT has been hammered by us and nothing has come from the steppes even though most of the factions have stopped attacking you guys as of a week ago.  Now you need to reiterate and brag about what solid allies you are when you are late to the party.  Obviously you intend to do something now that the attacks have slowed down, but that is the same as any normal ally would do.  Just like many of the other allainces out there.  Your need to broadcast how noble and honorable you are is rather caddish, like someone fasting using makeup to show gauntness and flagellants taking their shirt off for all to see.  Its a martyr complex, fitting with your hospitaller theme I suppose.
