Lately, I've noticed that wearing the Dracul tag brings joy (all of the people I've gotten to play this game with) yet it's also a burden, as people still hold a grudge for things that happened over a year ago and I can't play anywhere without being treated as a miscreant from hell. What the fuck is wrong with you people? Whatever happened to playing games because they were fun? How many of you play this for the purpose of continuing feuds when you don't even enjoy the game itself?
I've been playing this game for a long time now, and I've seen some things, and I've seen some stuff and I wouldn't recommend it.
Be the change that you wish to see in the world.
Because you recognize that there's a hostile element directed towards you, you wouldn't recommend this game to people. This is your solution?
I'm glad this mod's devs don't react the same way when people rage. Obviously they're working on and playing this mod because they have some form of fulfillment extenuating beyond what some dweeb thinks about them (not that they don't take productive criticism seriously).
And I was recruited by Haven after all of your drama. I read all of your guys's drama threads (never contributed myself) and I saw you and your friends participating in just as much hate speech. Is it really so hard to imagine that people like me who read your threads, watched you document your own tomfoolery, would remember you as a sperglord?
So what is your solution, Artyem? If you really want to contribute to the community, and I'm truly sincere about this, would you criticize everyone when you say
you, or would you solve your interpersonal problems with whom you see fit? Because I don't buy into your "essay". You're not being persecuted by anyone anymore outside of your resisting accountability for acting silly "
over a year ago". I think the majority of people who agree with you are people, like you, who garnered unwanted attention because they decided to verbally assault or argue with someone over something trivial. I recognize that there's irony in me saying this (why would I reply to this thread if I believe this?) but I'm replying to what you said because I do care about this community on a human level. And I think you do, too, and that's why you are posting here.
To the community:
This pretty much sums it up. Everything in gaming is rather trivial. Even the development of a game. If you don't like it and you have sufficient grounds for not liking something then there's probably a group of people, a group of developers who will cater to you because they feel the same way. Obviously Dracul is that niche for you. Sincerely, congratulations on Dracul. I envy that you have a group of like minded people you can play with. I've played this game since December/January 10/11 and I've yet to find a group like that. Most people I know are too busy being "pro" to even look at other players and recognize their worth, as an asset or as a friend.
