Hello  :D

This post is more about warband graphic system rather than specific cRPG mechanics, but as I'm not yet allowed to post on Taleworlds forum, I decided to ask to this community. So far, I've been enjoying the magnificence of Warband's gameplay for two years, facing the greatest multiplayer experience of my life. During all this time, due to the solid hardware of my laptop ( http://www.cnet.com/laptops/toshiba-qosmio-x500-s1801/4505-3121_7-33949475.html ), I could play using pretty high graphic settings (still keeping Vsync and anisotropic filtering modes off). This means: directX 9, 1920x1080 32bit, Texture, character and characters' shadows detail at maximum, and many other settings kept at mid-high standars (even though I repeat that I had to lay some graphic settings down in order to keep the framerate high and the engine smooth).

Approximately two weeks ago, apparently in a completely random manner, my warband's fps rate drops vigorously, and I still can't figure out why. I remember that at the beginning of October, while playing black mesa: source, my laptop sometimes used to overheat and shut down (that didn't happen to my pc in a long time). The decrease in the performance level started to show up around the same period, and in my deep ignorance of informatics (I'm just slightly above the "technologically impaired" tier) I feared that the overheat could have fucked up the graphic card and compromised my entire hardware. I had the laptop formatted and checked, technicians told me everything was ok. However, I'm still experiencing the same issues. I downloaded crysis 2 and played it on high graphic quality without noticing any major issues, managing to enjoy a smooth and clean single player experience. Warband's engine, however, is famous for its poor capacity of self exploiting itself.

I know that the information I just gave is not much, but I still hope to ring a bell in the head of some helpful and kind user. Thank you for your time :D
