Black armour!? Replace the red stripes with the coloring technique. Opens up the armor for many people.

Sarranid mail shirt - If possible, I think it could work very nicely with your technique.

I will see what I can do with the black armor. Sarranid mail shirt is patterned, so it will be hard to make it look good, but I will give it a try after all the easy armors are converted.

Added Rus Lamellar Cuirass.

I personally don't like this idea. It would make battlefields a riot of colour, like some kind of Caribbean carnival, which I don't think is what we want.

Should have the Shop have one example of the armor, and after clicking on it, brings you to a new page with the various colors for that armor.

There is no "the various colors for that armor", all armors in this thread can have any color that you choose as banner background. The full RGB spectrum is possible, or at least close to it.

I already started the light leather, but the results were disappointing, because the contrast between the black robe and the bright leather creates problems at the transitions. I haven't completely given up on it, yet, but it probably won't make it in the first release. Same goes for the (light) mail and plate. These armors have a texture that is only 512x512, which makes it very blurry at the color transitions, and hard for me to extract a proper mask. Steppe armor is the same thing. I've already posted it, but I am not happy with the result, and I will probably not release it together with the other armors in the OP.

The following armors are still planned for the first release (in addition to those in the OP with exclusion of Steppe Armor):
- Varangopoulos Armor
- Sipahi Yawshan
- Palace Guard Armor
- Byrnja

This means the first release should be ready before friday, so that maybe one of the devs can incorporate it into cRPG over the weekend. Yeah, right.

I know that there are more armors with potential, but most of them are problematic in some way and take a lot of time to convert, and I think it's best to get the bulk of them out as soon as possible, to see whether it really adds benefit to cRPG or not.
