the idea is apparnently to make everyone stop posting in diplomacy unless you are a registered official cRPG/Strategus Diplomatic Official only posting essential treaty details while roleplaying in full larp costume at your computer desk.
no seriously, they'd rather have no one posting in there then anyone having fun at all. every good poster who plays strat is now muted or 40 percent warning level, one post away from being muted again. the rules are as bad as somethingawful, but at least somethingawful bans people to make money from reregisters. hell just look at every poster in this thead, all WARNED. the bird clan thread was especially striking because it was 3 pages of EVERY PERSON with a warning level or muted.
either way congratulations on needlessly turning diplomacy, one of the highlights of the strategus experience, into a No-Fun-Zone. I don't see why it should just be moderated like the rest.. don't IRL insult people, don't post porn, try to stay on topic, just common sense. Yet the past few weeks common sense has flown out the window by moderators there, alienating countless players and discouraging any actual entertaining discussion about Strat politics and situations.
You are doing a job no one asked you to do and no one wants to see done, phantom moderator, except spergy trolls like Tears of Destiny.
