RIP my left cat on the couch (a few years old), she had to be put to sleep due to multiple organ failure, only the right one (cca 16 years of age) remains.

Except for the fact that its not a room but a courtyard, a corner under a roof with gray walls that weren't even finished at the time of this photo.  The couch was outside because there was no place in any of the houses for it so eventually it ended up being thrown away, just as the cats got used to sleeping on it. It was a couch in brilliant condition for 30 years, as good as new, until it got to our animals, a few months of them on it and it was filled with their hairs, bad smells and ready for garbage.

The 16-years-old cat you see on that couch is the last remaining cat and actually the first one I brought when she was just a kitten, somewhere back in '98 (or so).....she got 4 little kittens before we sterilized her, we were obviously too late......those 4 kittens were 3 males and 1 female, that 1 female got 3 more females and 1 male, each one of those females got 3 or 4......at one point there was like 20 cats around our courtyard, parents were freaking up as you can imagine......unfortunately, most of those cats died quite early due to various accidents, diseases, etc and many years later the first one that started it is still alive while all the others are dead, the eternal & indestructible GrandGrandGrandMother of all our Cats. True story, I tell ya.
