Well, that didn't last long, did it?

The great republic of Yalen is officially at a state of war. Occitan_arrowaine has cowardly attacked me while I was transporting goods and his only response on that matter (not even directly at me!) is: I want the fief.

A cowardly strike, truly, but it shall not go unanswered. I call all true men who want peace over brute force to ally with me against such aggression!

I still have nothing against the Occitans themselves, however. If they ever desire peace, they shall have it. I do not intend to be on offensive myself at any point. I do NOT however, intend to just die off easily.

edit: on a seperate note, the attack by Arrowaine on me will play out in about an hour. If you wish so, sign up. I will accept all recruits happily (if you are reasonably leveled up, of course)

I sent a message to arrowaine to see if we can discuss something. I hope we can find a diplomatic solution.

As I mentioned in my other thread, the city is armed and I fully intend to defend it, even against all hope. It would benefit both of us to get a diplomatic solution in this case.

The only way your going to be able to keep your town is if you attack and take the villages occitan controls around you. Get the coalition/templars to merc for you or even give you support from the fiefs they own near you, they will probably do it. Unless you drive occitan out of the area they arent going to stop trying to take your town, and they eventually will. Also the longer you wait the stronger they will get and the weaker you will get in comparison, better do it soon.
