AT THIS TIME WE AT HOSPITALLER WILL NEED TO CLOSE OUR TRADE DOORS TO CASUAL TRADE ,TEMPORARILY, PENDING A NEW TRADE FORMAT. WE ASK THAT ALL MEMBERS NOT LISTED IN THE TRADE AGREEMENT SECTION TO PLEASE FINISH UP YOUR TRADE DEALINGS WITHIN THE HOSPITALLER TERRITORIES WITHIN A 48 HOUR PERIOD. ANYONE WITHIN THE TERRITORIES AFTER THE 48 HOUR PERIOD WILL BE SUBJECT TO DEFAULT STEPS OF REMOVAL BEGINNING WITH PM WARNING. IF YOU FEEL YOU CANNOT MAKE IT OUTSIDE OF THE TERRITORIES WITHIN THIS TIMEFRAME PLEASE PM ME WITH REASONING SO WE CAN COME TO AN ARRANGEMENT. WITHIN THIS TIMEFRAME WE ASK THAT YOU DO NOT TRADE WITH ANY OF THE FIEFS LISTED IN THE 'FIEFS OFF-LIMITS TO CASUAL TRADE' SECTION. At the moment our borders are not closed to moving through our lands.  HOWEVER, we are trying to preserve S&D for our faction, our trading partners, and friendly factions.  If you are going to be passing through our lands please notify one of the diplomats on the list.  If you are looking for trading agreements, again, please see one of the diplomats to work out a trade agreement.  It would not be in your best interests to march through our lands with crates or an armed army without first clearing it with us, as that would possibly provoke hostilities to protect what is ours.  We will also not tolerate any banditry in the Steppe, and will also be helping patrol near our borders into the Southern Desert, and the Northern Tundra.

I will not publicly announce any trading partners of other factions, but will keep a list of independent traders who have been given permission to trade, or pass through our lands below:

They will not, however, extend this same courtesy in reverse for you and your land. By that token of 'possible provoked hostilities' it is in your best interests to disallow entry to any caravan of theirs you see attempting to enter your territory, as they would, by this admission, give the same welcome to yours.

Early strat 4 was pretty decentralized with people going to wherever and taking s&d wherever they could.  This was done by most people that I saw on the map, and we are trying to reign this on now.  Our early trade agreements were "we'll trade in your lands, you trade in ours", which we found out very quickly won't work.  Growing pains of a new strat version and such.

I received confirmation Jeff was leaving your lands without selling, I can't say if he listened or not.  I apologize for any s&d rapeage and we are doing our best to control what happens to our s&d, and where our people are going.
