Is there a range limit on how far it will move you across the map? And is it suppose to kick you to the EU map if you are on NA etc?

I was put on the opposite side of the map, so its likely that you can get beamed to the other side of the world.

I dont mind, i was just wondering it that was the intent? It put me 180+ hours away from where i was and on the EU map....
