I was actually really impressed with this intro, gave me the chills. Executed perfect for the game! Probably one of the best intro's i've ever seen..

No offense to you and Gurni but that intro was shitty even in year 1999. when game came out. Even as teenager I was laughing at that intro. But game itself is in my top 3 favorite games and probably something closest to actual board game you'll ever find in digital form.

At that time, AoE intro left much stronger impression on me although it looks like shit nowadays.

This is an intro which looks incredibly cheesy nowadays but left quite the impression on me in year 2001:

And of course best game intro ever is Half Life intro but we're talking about non-playable intros here, not interactive ones. You don't have to watch it on youtube, just d/l Black Mesa and play it, it's even better than original :)

I remember people asking wtf I was watching.

Then "Oh it's a videogame  :o"

Btw, in all the cases the japanese intros have a better 2nd music, I don't really enjoy my gay chemigaycal bromagaynce, but the interesting parts are at the start.

*boner*

I've never heard of this actually. Looks a lot like me playing shift with no driving help and no HUD. Sounds awesome.

one of the best!

A lot of people in the NA community know that Dach rages and in the process of his uncontrollable rage, he tends to kick people.

You've been warned!
