The Agenda Of the Master(?) Merchant, OutOfNames

I've decided, that I will go on my own agenda in strat, which is being the best fucking merchant since the FPF god Mandible himself.

To achieve this immaculate dream, I can't have petty faction relations issues getting into the way of my routes. So, therefore I am hereby independent from the Free Companies of Calradia and forming my own, prominent merchant guild, the United Merchants' Guild.
Any merchants who wish to join this faction are welcome with open arms, and will (hopefully) be considered neutral by most factions.

I ask any faction that opposes me entering their lands (I will notify you before I head towards your territory, I won't just waltz in.) please PM me or post it here.

TL;DR: I'm on my own now trying to be like mandible was and amass a fortune with greater length and width than Berenger's schlong.

E: Also, I will be able to pay a fee for any of you who LURRRV their precious S&D. (Fee being some gear from my travels, gold, goods(?) etc etc.)

As far as i know there is literally no benefit at all to allowing someone to trade in your fiefs. Taxes do not even come close to compensating for the lost revenue that comes from someone coming and using up even a small portion of your S&D. If taxes could be raised to 40-50% levels then yes, but they cant 1-3% tax is nothing.

Good luck. I admire anyone who aspires to lead their own faction.

Hopefully something is implemented to compensate clans for letting traders roam freely. I'd love to offer protection to traders in the Shogunate's land but as previously mentioned there is no benefit and it is expensive.

I've already given free passage to a few traders who have asked, but there's only so many that can be helped before a faction is leeched dry lol.

Yeah, new system bones the free traders due to clans wanting to conserve S&D and keeping traders out.

LOL  Good luck on your travels.  I'm not playing right now so it's all yours.

I'm still trying to dig Berenger's schlong out from under all my now useless strat 3 gold, goods, and supplies; I hope to get it out soon; the smell is something terrible  :D

I had a lot of help from a lot of clans or I would have been squashed like a bug early on.  I won't mention them because of confidentiality stuff, but I appreciate all they did.
