Would it be possible to make the strat auto assign the attacked/attacker to their team?  seems kinda silly to have to apply to my own battle....lol

Thought about that too, but if you're not around for some reason and can't make it to the battle you'll waste one slot and lose reliability.

Actually, it would NOT affect your merc count doing this.

Most of you probably never noticed, but you could actually get ONE slot more than normal by hiring yourself for the battle.(so merc max was 50+1 for your hero) still is if i assume correctly
