I was wondering, how do you guys recruit new developer and what for ?
I have a good level in :
-C#:
WPF (specially mvvm pattern)
Windform
Asp .net (MCV 3/4 and Web api) or WebService oData
(also i'm used to Entity Framework 4/5).
-Javascript:
I am currently working on a SPA (single page application, it's a contact/consultation manager with a lot of stuff) using :
-Knockout (
http://knockoutjs.com/ if you don't know it do the tutorial, it's really well done) and something comparable to Upshot for client side (which work with Jquery)
-Web api controller for server side
Of course i can adapt to any language, I've touch a lot of different things (Java J2EE, PHP, Some shitty language on Garrys mod, and some shitty others in my computer education).
The things i'm working on at the moment (i'm on an internship but i'm basically doing the whole thing, and beside the design it's almost finished ) would maybe be awesome for the future of strategus.
Of course as it is at the moment it's really good and works well. But by using Knockout for the mvvm pattern, Jquery for Ajax request, and a controller behind to handle server layers you can get an heavy application on your web browser.
And that would be nicely maintainable (knockout and view/viewmodel pattern is awesome) and would allow to do dynamic stuff on strategus map, or simply make it faster (and with web socket you can refresh some data when someone else do something which affect you).
As strategus is at the moment there is no reason to make it more like a local application but if you got some idea and you though "dam we cant do this with .php files", well here you go.

Edit: I forgot to tell, i am a 4th years Supinfo student, as you can see i'm a .Net developper.
