Hi everyone! We're
Swords with Friends, a bunch of first-gen noobs who just got this game a few weeks ago. It's a ton of fun, and since we played a Strategus siege battle near the end of round three and noticed Strategus was being reset, we're playing round four with you all! Through the initial voting, we've occupied the tiny town of
Faraway Ismirala, on the
eastern tip of the the NA snowy territory. We've already repelled two attacks successfully, thanks to everyone who volunteered to defend us! Thanks especially to
Canary_of_Chaos,
Mayzer_of_Chaos, and the others who helped us defend both times while I was watching helplessly from work! (Thankfully, it stopped scheduling battles smack in the middle of my listed night time, so that shouldn't happen again.)

We'd love to negotiate our survival with our neighbors so we can keep playing with the big boys; please let us know if we can help you by signing up as mercenaries for your battle (maybe for the other team if we're really bad), intercepting enemy armies that walk by us, or whatever else a bunch of untrained peasants wearing armor they found in a basement and wielding swords can do for you.
We're now besieged by KUTT--which appears to be the largest clan in both Strategus and the NA Siege server, and has laid an arbitrary claim on our territory--and we're probably not going to make it beyond this battle, since we're only about six scrubs who have never even played Mount & Blade before. But, we're not going to be bullied out of our fief--we're going to fight until our last breath to own Faraway Ismirala!
Is anyone willing to help us defend our humble hamlet? We don't have any money, but we have some weapons and armor that we've bought or received for our previous defenses, and plenty of gratitude to offer. It's at 5pm EDT tomorrow. (I think we can only hire up to 28 mercenaries.)
