Potential Exploit

Couldnt a faction, do something like lower the goods price really low in a town, buy a ton of goods at that low price, and walk 10km to the next town where they have jacked up good prices to 30 a peice and sell the goods there for a huge profit. If you had 4k gold and bought abunch of 1 gold item, and in a few hours walked to the neighboring town and sold them for 30 gold a piece you'd have 120,000 gold. Or is this allowed/expected.

Not worth it as you loose those points for getting better and cheaper weapons.

Only in cities would this be remotely possible because they can regenerate fast enough to allow it.(but even then, it'd take a week minimum to pull off successfully)

this is not exploit, its intentionally DESIGNED.

No more sitting afk in village crafting trade goods.  You buy low and sell high, you have to move to make money.

What limits this is each fief can only deal so business per day (S&D rating) which can be increased by upgrading fief prosperity value.

Yeah it might seem like it's an exploit because of the starting production points,  I mean you could technically buy goods low in the same village, and then jack the price up and sell there without even going anywhere, but that's going to use up a lot of production points.

I did that too when I increased the price. But it doesn't give much gold because you can only buy as much goods as you have soldiers. It might make a difference for a huge clan if like 10+ ppl do buy goods and then the price it raised.

I havnt noticed this limit on buying goods in one day, i just bought 700 goods at 7 gold a peice, going to sell them for 23 gold (330%+ profit) in the castle that is two hours away from the village. I guess my point with this is does this make "trade routes" obsolete. You can make more money doing this than by selling items at really far away places.

We have a similar trade route:  castle: 7 gold, village: 24 gold

How could you buy 700 items? How many troops do you have?  Do you have any horses? I am only able to buy as many items as I have troops... what am I doing wrong?

Just buy them again. You can only buy your troop amount max in one sitting, but you can buy through multiple sittings. Make sense?

people are like potatoes, they come in different shapes and sizes and they all are beautifull
masturbating while looking in a mirror isnt wrong unless its the rear view mirror and you are driving a school buss.

Do you mean I can buy 100 + 100 + 100 + ... over and over again without selling anything? Or do you mean you can buy, sell, buy, sell?

The first one sounds more like a bug, as I think you're only supposed to take one crate per troop... and then it wouldn't make sense why the limit is there at all.

First, you can buy as many goods as you can afford, just disregard the max number thing

Second, s&d is buying and selling goods so its not as easy u think to mass produce and goods, because people want to use the best fiefs but only limited s&d

Third, since its easy to reach max distance bonus, its still better to do the longer routes

No you can carry more than soldiers. also it's 6 goods per crate not 1:1. If you have more, you are a slow moving target ripe for banditry.

If you use up 200 S&D in a 5 gold fief you will get 800 goods.

It will however take you 800 S&D to sell these goods in a 25 gold fief.

At base prosperity this means 4 days sitting around and hoping no one else steals your S&D.  Do this at minimal distance bonus and you will make 24k over 4 days

If instead you chose to travel for those 4 days to a fief with 300% distance bonus you could make 114k providing nobody used the S&D whilst you are traveling.

I personally know which I will be going for :D
