Transferring troops from village to myself doesn't work

Transferring troops from village to myself doesn't work. I accepted incoming transfers but no difference. Does it have the same minimum 100 troops limit like an army?

You seem like you know what your doing so I assume army. Is your max army cap above the limit(IE you want 10 troops, but you already have 100/100 so you may not be able to get them)

I've had a problem with this as well.  A member of my faction was trying to transfer me troops, I have one troop and set my cap to 200, he was trying to transfer me 99.  Even though it is in faction, I accept transfers but...still nothing.  He was able to give me gold.  We both have strategus ticks.  Please help/fix it.

One thing we've found is that you cannot transfer your default 100 troops, you have to transfer from outside of that first hundred.

It's army, I have 22 troops in the village. I myself had a few above 100, limit set to 200 or 300 or something. I also tried to transfer only 1, but that didn't work either.

You must have 100 troops left if you try to send some. So if you have 120 troops, you can only send 20 to a location.

So were forced to hold on to our default 100 troops until we get in a battle and have them killed?

*edit*  Or you can cut the max down and they die automatically.  Success!

This is seems to be the rule, currently, regardless of whether it is your starting 100.
