Strat 4.0: The Remnants

The Remnant declares neutrality towards all factions for the start of Strat 4.0, as we wish to start fresh policies and have friendly relations with all clans.

For this round of Strat, the Remnants control the villages in the center of the map. Also listed are our claims.

Ehlerdah
Yalibe
Amere
Rduna

Our goal is to function as a trading hub for the Strategus map. We're certain grudge matches will come up, and wars will break out. We know there will be trading embargoes and other such sanctions against each nation.

That said, our goal is to set up a safezone in the center of the map where free trade, brohugs, kisses and rainbows but particularly free trade is a priority. The DMZ is considered the open land between the villages Amere, Rduna and Ehlerdah to the foot of the steppe (to the West). Outside the DMZ, do whatever you want to do, but inside the Zone, it's a fucking party, as emphasized as this gif:

Armies of 200 or more (that's a ≥ sign, not >) will not be allowed into the Trade Zone, simply because of the dangers armies that size pose to the other merchants in the area.

As with such trade zones, taxes and prices are very flexible, and will change to suit the market climate. Rest assured we will keep taxes as low as possible, while making financial sense. Think of us as the merchant/banking guild while in the Zone.

We hope that people will honor our request, but will back up our claims with force, if required. If you wish to set up a caravan route, speak to Remnant_Chestaclese for trade agreements. He is supported by Remnant_Tom_Cruise, who is our Caravan Guard Captain.

All communications through them will go through myself, Sauce, Noodles and Miracle for approval (because business mayng).

Disclaimer: Please note that activities outside the Trade Zone are not supported by the Remnant, so please keep your wars out of our Zone. We are interested in creating a free market sector, not clubbing each other back into the stone age. Fucken' Star League up in this bitch!

Information and updates

Those who assault our territories will be treated as hostile, and we will react in the same way any other nation would.

Trade Zone map image incoming. I'm on baby computer and she's a little slow ifyouknowhwatimean

Also: potential military support options are pending. We want to work out the kinks in our structure before we go nuts here.

Exceptions and other notes :
More reserved space because why not. It'll work out later.

The Remnants are the only faction that can move around the Zone with armies of 200 or more. This is to safekeep and safeguard the peace around the Zone, in order to maintain fair trade and friendly relations with all merchants. Our men will not assault forces inside the Zone as long as you adhere to our requests of peace and free trade.

Considering I'm one of the border castles to your land I fully endorse this as I was hoping to keep Reindi Castle as a free trade castle(more secure than a village at least). If you guys are willing, I wouldn't mind including DL into the free trade zone.

Caravans going through your dmz are going to want to be larger than 200.

Well, I'm going to assume that most caravans over 200 won't be running around without a guard or additional force to keep speed up etc.

That said, we'll take into account the event of single person caravans and update the pos accordingly.
