How the hell does this system even work? Someone care to explain? Only thing I understand is from what the vote % depends on. All other is just darkness.

Votes will never be public. At the end, the winners are notified by cRPG message. You will never know how close you missed it ;)

Pretty common in various parts of the world, like the Catholic Church.

Would be cool to see at least total list of voters, not what they voted for, but nicely alphabetically sorted list of ALL who did cast ANY vote. Please, make it easier for us to punish them lazy asses.

Papal elections? Parish, monestary and Bishop elections. Yes, there was voting in the middle ages.
