Unable to find servers

Hello,

I recently moved in university and am using the campus' internet. It works all fine, but I can't update the launcher or see the servers.
If any of you knows what steps might help me in this, I'd be really grateful

Have you checked that the campus firewall isn't blocking access to gaming servers?

I guess they're likely blocking most game IPs and make it impossible to connect to most gaming servers. I guess you're already lucky enough to be able to connect to gaming sites.

I sorta figured that out sooo, anyone knows how to bypass it? I'm sure there is a way, I ain't the first and I saw many websites with info on it, but its always best if someone with direct experience with warband could help me

If it's set in your campus firewall the only way to get around it will be to talk with a friendly IT tech, and hope that he'll unblock certain IPs for you.

Fun fact: I did a Games Design BTEC in 2005-07, and for the first 6 months the college firewall blocked all websites that included the term: "Computer games".

Haha, thankfully its not that bad here
I actually used programs such as sockscap , httptunnel and yourfreedom and I can see the servers, only that the connection is so slow it's unplayable ( bits by bits).
So if anyone is good with those...
