This isn't just a problem with HA, it's an issue with all ranged. You get what looks like a perfect shot, but turns out it was a miss. Or on the other hand, it flies way off the target, BOOM headshot.

I don't know for sure, but if I had to guess, it might be an issue that lag causes the server and client to use a different seed, so the actual arrow is using a different seed than the one you see is.

IMO it's a shame that horse archers, being much harder to play, are less rewarding and efficient than horse crossbowmen.
IMO there was no need for the big horse archery accuracy nerf that was done together with the uneeded lance angle nerf.

I've said it several times before; Increase strength requirement of light crossbow to 11 or 12.
That will make quite a big difference as horse crossbowmen are now the fastest riders of crpg, which makes no sense.
Why should horse crossbowmen ride around with 10 riding when everyone else have 5-8?

After that, increase accuracy of horse archers. Aiming well takes skill, especially from horseback.

HÃ¥ller med.
Agree with u horse crossmen are to good right now the only advantage I have as a HA is that I can shoot faster but that doz not help when the accuracy is messed up.

I dont think this we are going to solve this problem but it good to know that other players experience the same thing

HAs got fine accuracy, sorry to say.
1H stab is the fastest, strongest and longest 1H animation. There's no reason NOT to use it in all instances. I don't know if it's OP, but it's boring. 1H used to be fun because you had a fast (left), long (right) and the most devastating attack (stab) and had to choose the best attack for each occasion.

I wish Horse Archer was a more viable class. It is honestly one class in my opinion that could do with a substantial buff. Horse Archers to fight lancers would be great, but if possible I wouldn't give anymore to Horse Crossbowmen. Just Horse Archers need some love.

HA aim as been off for some time now, i can remember the arrow speed nerf some time ago that did the wierd 1 meter away from target but hit, and the other way around where you seem to hit something but miss anyway.
It might be already there before but after the flight speed nerf of arrows it got alot worse.
I have no proof to back this up, its just a feeling I have and how i remember it ( I even stopped playing for a while after that nerf.)
Playing a HX after 9 gens of HA or HA/one hander and yes the aim is slighty better.
I still see bolts flying trew targets however, just not as often as with bow and arrow.

I really wish the devs of this mod spend some time trying to fix this.

I, for one, would love to see a buff for horse archers and horse throwers.

As if we didn't already have enough cavalry on the battle server.

Buffing HA will not counter cav - it will nerf infantry further. Lancers don't often chase HA around, because they know that the HA can just shoot out their horse at range, then dance around them, therefore, who would the HA be targetting? Infantry, not cavalry, because they know that cavalry is little threat to them unless they get blind sided.

Additionally: I have no accuracy problems hitting with my HA - the only times that it becomes a little awkward is when you don't slow down to fire off a shot and in this situation the lack of accuracy is appropriate.

Conclusion: HA is fine.
