Why are French Canadians almost worse than French at English?
Just curious. I guess its a simple matter of education. And well. I don't have the feeling people misunderstand me when I speak nor do they frown upon the quality of my syntaxis. In fact, statistics about language penetration show that bilingualism is a reality of much more consistency in Quebec than in France. -Exposition and proximity obliges-
And yes, we chose EU land mainly because we felt our support would be limited in NA land, where I fear, too many would have been ever so happy to treat us like crap as they did last strat. Hospits were hated, we understand that, and we even understand why. Nonetheless, we gave our word and lived by it. Some will consider the value of that I guess...
Still, they kept their word to us too, and while we often wanted a different pattern to emerge in NA land, to our surprise (and disgust I must admit), we got pushed from a war to another, while the defeated of yesterday plotted their revenge, in a never-ending spiral of dramas. To that extent, I must say that only the Fallen truly moved on, and I find it quite ironic to see that we are face to face once more -claimwide-
Anyways, with Hospitallers gone, we had little left to do so far of any support and allies; the idea of claiming a hold in NA land, never even emerged in our meetings, as no matter where we pointed on the map, we would have been surrounded by enemies, isolated, and soon destroyed; or at the very best, vassals in a scheme of maniacal imperialistic domination by some vassal-hungry conglomerate of coalised ex-enemies. So yeah... Long live EU lol.
Honestly tough, I wonder who is going to be the new "black sheep" of NA.
