That's 200 looms, for one year, 365 days. 200 players get 1 loom each. not a big deal imo... and who knows if those bigger clans really get those looms? Some maybe, but others as well.

Thousands of players, 200 looms, i dont see why you want to bandit months of strategus to have a chance on a "free loom".
+, more fiefs = more money (trade), more motivation to conquer fiefs, more battles.

Past strategus a shitload of ppl just grinded in strategus, and bought crpg gold and looms with it. This is a great way to prevent that.

+1 to whoever in the dev-team thought this up.

Not likely you get multiple looms in your own by simply banditing Considering the amount of players and the amount the big clans make with trade etc (for example empire ended with 58.316.041 gold last strat) Only difference now is that you cant craft in fiefs anymore, you have to own one if you want to do so effective.)

It was not trading, lol. But yes, big clans would have more gold. Just hope that they will not spend it all on banking.

i'm throwing it out there, but i like the idea of the loom bank.

It gives people something to fight for. If you spend all of your money on battles, you'll get no looms, if you spend none of your money on battles, you'll get no looms, you have to deposit the right amount of money and spend the right amount.

From a strategus bandit point of view, where my entire purpose is raiding caravans and making money, i really do like this idea ... do i put my money into the bank where i can't get it out of, or do i spend it on more troops ? .. etc ..

They will fight the battles, take over the fiefs and gain even more gold and especially XP. And that what Strat is for, XP through battles and especially fun.
They can store their gold later one, even share it within their members and probably have more in the end so maybe higher chances to win looms (if the gold amount needed stays at 5k it probably will be possible for anyone, so the only thing this changes is, that 200 looms are given to 200 different players who joined Strategus, nothing more).

It wont stay at 5k.

There are 200 looms to devide, so its all gold on all banks/200. So if on all bank accounts together there would be... 200 mil gold, then you need 1 mil gold for getting a garantueed loom. if you have 500k, you will have 50% chance to get a loom, if you have 1.5mil you will get 1 guaranteed, and 50% chance on a second one. All depends on the total amount of gold in the end on the banks.

Chads probably saw that when 1 powerblock of 500 players work together it would force the rest of the clans to form up if they want any chance at all, killing all diplomacy, and giving smaller clans no chance. Thus he is trying to give smaller clans some fun in strategus, whats wrong with that?
