Exactly. The ones you have playable in your own library can't be traded.

I doubt they ever will, it's a huge part of their business model. It's also why many retail games launch with steam link-up required on the boxed copy, it's just another form of DRM.

Can I trade steam games I never ever downloaded ? I got quite a lot of those since I bought a paradox pack during a summer sale and I haven't tried them all yet.
