What's the best built for a blunt character?

Soon to retire for the first time coming from a polearm going 2h, i'm asking myself if a blunt 2h is a good option and if it is, what built and weapon would make it good and if not what's a good built + weapon for short 2h like morningstar or HBS?

A 2h, iv'e seen great maulers and they're pretty good, just doesn't know if my 2h built has to be strenght oriented or agility oriented if i prefer shorter 2h like morningstar, katana, mauls, HBS, etc.

2h with blunt damage is a good option. As for weapon - I would recommend Bar Mace, or Great Maul if you want crush through blocks (though great maul is too slow, probably).
As for build, you can use any regular 2h build like 15-24, 18-21, 21-18, 24-15, all of those will work good.
And sure, the shorter weapons you want to use, the more agility you need to be effective with it.

Because in a way, I'm thinking: well since it's shorter weapons you have to be faster then your enemy to be constantly in his face so more agility then strenght and the more WPF the faster and stronger you hit (idk just a theory seeing Nehvar kills weaboos in 2 shots like me even if he's 18/24 and i'm 30/8 with a 46 cut weapon when he uses an HBS). But at the same time, you need to have enough Iron Flesh to survive since it's a short weapon which means you will mostly have to make the first move and be attacked first too.

Between, what's the relation between WPF and PS? where does one beat the other? Like I said before with Nehvar hitting almost as hard or harder then me with 4 less PS.

That's because of the speed bonus, not really WPF. WPF is pretty crap and you're better off taking PS. Btw, you can't use Great Maul with an 19 STR or less.

Fuck that, 42/3 is the new str crutch. Gotta aim for level 35 though.

I use the bar mace since a long time now. I tried a lot of builds: 24/15, 27/12, 36/3, 18/21 ...
I found out that the best build for me is 21/18. Damage is high enough (with mw bar mace), knockdown happens often and i have good maneuverability.

But if you play more siege than battle, 24/15 or more str is also viable.

3 gens mauler. 35/3, grab 1 point in shields, 1 weapon mastery, rest go straight to health and power strike.

You are extremely hard to kill, can protect against archers and are hitting like a truck. Also works sweet with a bar mace.

35/3 is bullshit, 36/3 garants you 1ps more with just loosing a few IF.
